I have a special surprise for Indianapolis fans of Neo-Soul…. how does a Bashiri Asad live music video sound to you? I had the chance to shoot a live performance show for Bashiri of Indianapolis and Aryk Crowder of Chicago recently and wanted to share the footage with everyone.
The performance happened at the Do 317 Lounge, which is located in the Fountain Square neighborhood of Indianapolis.
Aryk was the opening act and did a great job of performing a mix of original and cover songs followed by Bashiri who didn’t fail in providing his unique sound that Indianapolis has come to know and love.
This was my first time working with either Bashiri or Aryk and I definitely look forward to working with both music camps again in the future. Aryk and “Your Man”… Bashiri and “Running On Empty”… two songs with no official music videos… Do I need to say more?
